Established in 1980, Shogun Restaurant has earned its reputation for excellence since first opening its doors in Pasadena. Founder and owner, Bruce Kanenobu, continues to expand his vision by launching new locations throughout Southern California, with the most recent grand openings in Corona and San Marcos. 1980 Bruce Kanenobu, founder and owner of Shogun Restaurant, introduces the original location in Pasadena.
2000 Shogun Kobe in San Diego opens its doors on June 1st.
2003 The grand opening of Shogun Restaurant in La Verne on June 14th.
2004 Shogun Kitchen, a fast-casual Japanese restaurant, opens in Corona.
2006 The grand openings of Shogun Restaurant in Corona, San Marcos, and Temecula.
